Sadly, due to health crisis affecting us all,
- the March 29 program of Notes for Nourishment in San Francisco featuring the Davisson Duo (for the benefit of Guitars Not Guns) has been cancelled/postponed and will be definitely be rescheduled for sometime in the future
- the April 17 program of Notes for Nourishment in Alameda featuring Brazilian opera baritone Igor Vieira with pianist Donna Stoering (for the benefit of Hope for Paws, Welcome the Stranger and Catholic Charities' immigration programs) has also been cancelled/postponed for sometime in the future.
- the series of daily Notes for Nourishment concerts scheduled for May 23-30 as part of the famed Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina is not yet cancelled - this decision is in the hands of the Spoleto Festival committee which has not yet made that determination. We had actually been excited to announce that we received two grants from the county there to produce our concerts again this year, and we have three business sponsors in the community thus far!
- BUT - given the current predictions for spread and timeline of the corona virus nationwide, we suspect that mid-late May might sadly fall right in the middle of the apex of the health crisis and we certainly do not want the health of our artists or audiences to be compromised. We will let you know for sure, one way or the other, as we get closer to the month of May and/or have more definitive information from the Festival authorities.
