To kick-start our new Notes for Nourishment series, we are going to be sharing with you the music of the 7 Degrees Ensemble for our
"Musica al-Andalusia: Songs for Refugees" concert. This program features music and poetry originating from the high courts of 9th Century Andalusia; including repertoire from Arabic, Spanish, Ladino, Hebrew, Greek, and Turkish cultures.

The event will take place at 4pm on Sunday, September 30th in the beautiful Mission Dolores Basilica in San Francisco. The cost of this concert is completely free, but all donations will go towards the "Rhythm of Refugees" project, which strives to bring music education to refugees in camps of Tunisia, Lebanon, and the West Bank.
