Start the New Year with Music!

As 2017 begins, we especially want to REMIND all of you about our Notes for Nourishment monthly concerts, which we launched in April 2016 in the California Bay Area. Internationally-renowned artists, performing FREE one-hour concerts to nourish their audience, while collecting donations for non-profit organizations that nourish the hungry, homeless, or hurting in the community .

We've already featured top musicians from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North/South America, and concluded the 2016 concerts with a very special recital of holiday music given by the beloved opera star Frederica von Stade, which raised funds for high school scholarships for disadvantaged youth throughout the Bay Area.

And now the 2017 season of monthly concerts begins! Here is what you need to know:
  • All concerts take place in the warm ambiance and gorgeous acoustics of the Basilica of St. Joseph in Alameda, CA: 1109 Chestnut St, Alameda, CA 94501
  • Concerts happen one Sunday a month, and in 2017, all concerts will begin at 3pm. This is a change from last year!
